Sheraton Bay Point Resort Opens in Panama City Beach Following Extensive Renovation

IMG_6962 (1)Marriott International announced the opening of a new Sheraton property in Panama City Beach, Florida. The Sheraton Bay Point Resort recently completed a $30 million renovation.

The hotel is located on a 1,100-acre (445-hectare) wildlife preserve on St. Andrews Bay. It has 200 guestrooms and suites, as well as 120 golf villas that offer views of the bay and the hotel’s two golf courses.

Golf course amenities include a pro shop, clubhouse, golf villa pool, and a restaurant, Club 19.

Additional restaurants located on the premises include Tides, which offers American cuisine, and Pelican’s an open-air beach bar. Additionally, Hammocks Beach Bar offers snacks and local craft beers.

The hotel includes three outdoor pools, lighted clay tennis courts, a fitness center, and a boardwalk to the property’s private beach area. The property also has 60,000 square feet (5,574 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a 12,000-square-foot (1,114-square-meter) ballroom, an outdoor pavilion, outdoor lawns, and 22 meeting rooms.

The Serenity Spa offers a variety of treatments and massages, as well as beauty and pampering services.
