British Airways to Link London Gatwick with Fort Lauderdale

British Airways announced that it will begin to offer new service between London Gatwick and Fort Lauderdale, Florida on July 6, 2017. The route will be the carrier’s third service to Florida from London Gatwick.

Flights are scheduled to depart London at 9:25 a.m. and arrive at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 1:45 p.m. the same day Return flights will depart Fort Lauderdale at 5 p.m. and arrive back in London at 6:30 a.m. the next morning.

British Airways plans to operate the route three days a week, with a fourth to be added during peak summer months. The carrier will use Boeing 777-200 aircraft on the route.

British Airways currently offers service between London Gatwick and both Orlando and Tampa, as well as daily service between London Heathrow and Miami.
