T-Mobile to Continue Free 4G LTE Roaming in Europe Through End of Year, Add South America

T-Mobile USA, which provided free high-speed LTE data roaming to its customers traveling in Europe this summer at no charge, said Wednesday it will continue to offer the free service in 19 countries through the end of the year.

The self-proclaimed “Uncarrier” also said it plans to expand the free high-speed data service to 14 countries in South America as well.

European countries included in the promotion include Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

Countries in South America where the service will be available include Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia,, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

The 4G LTE service will be automatically available to customers upon arrival in one of the supported countries.
