Hyatt announced the opening of the Hyatt Regency Shanghai, Wujiaochang in China. Situated in a business and university district of Shanghai, the hotel is located in the Hopson International Plaza, a new tower consisting of offices, a shopping mall, and dining and entertainment venues.

The property has 306 guestrooms, 17 of which are suites. Each room has floor-to-ceiling windows, a 48” LED TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi, while suites offer a 60” LED TV, Nespresso coffee machine, walk-in closet, and marble bathroom.

The hotel has a conservatory garden, a 115-foot (25-meter) high central atrium with a glass roof and bonsai, rockeries, and flowering trees.

Guests can dine at the property’s Market Café, which offers a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as an a la carte menu with Asian, European, and American cuisine, while the Lounge offers afternoon tea, as well as live music.

The hotel has 30,763 square feet (2,858 square meters) of meeting and event space, including an 8,331-square-foot (774-square-meter) ballroom and seven meeting rooms. A landscaped rooftop terrace is also located on the premises.

Guests can use the hotel’s 24-hour fitness center, as well as an indoor pool and whirlpool.
