Alaska Airlines to Launch Bellingham-Kona Route

DSC_0305 2Alaska Airlines announced that it plans to begin non-stop, seasonal service to Kona, Hawaii from Bellingham, a city in Washington State, approximately 90 miles north of Seattle. The carrier will operate the service between November 12, 2016 and April 1, 2017, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Flights are scheduled to depart Bellingham at 8:50 a.m. on Saturdays and arrive in Kona at 1:30 p.m. From Kona, flights will depart at 1:30 p.m., also on Saturdays, and arrive in Bellingham at 9:39 p.m.

Alaska’s 737-800s are equipped with 16 seats in first class and 147 seats in economy. First-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 36”.

From Bellingham, Alaska offers service to Seattle, Las Vegas, Maui, and Portland, Oregon.
