‘Psychedelic’ Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco Opens its Doors

DSC_7564Viceroy Hotel Group announced the opening of the Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco. The property is located two blocks from the city’s Union Square and describes itself as a new home for San Francisco’s counter-culture with a “psychedelic heartbeat.”

The hotel has 196 guestrooms and suites, decorated with eclectic vintage furnishings (some rooms even have “vintage-inspired” record players). The hotel’s 1,800-square-foot (167-square-meter) presidential suite is outfitted with a wet bar, media room, and outdoor deck.

The property has a game room with skeeball, shuffleboard, a basketball wall, and an oversized electronic Bingo board.

Guests can dine at the hotel’s café, bar, and lounge pay tribute to the bookstores and cafes of the beatnik era, and features poetry that will be spontaneously exposed using black light.
