Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport announced the completion of the second phase of renovations to Terminal B.

The newly-refurbished gates B4 through B11 are now open for use at the terminal, as are the corresponding ticketing hall, two baggage claim areas, and a security checkpoint. Two new passenger entryways with elevator access, one with a covered walkway from the adjacent 1,800-space parking garage were also reopened as part of the airport’s Terminal Renewal and Improvement Program.

New concessions offerings in the terminal include Ince Box Café at gate B4, Hudson News at B5, Dunkin’ Donuts at B6, InMotion and Texas Marketplace at B9, and Red Mango at B10. Additionally, a Sierra News magazine and bookshop was added in the baggage claim area of B4 and B5, as were charging tables and vending machines.

The third phase of the Terminal Renovation and Improvement Program will see the renovation of gates B18 through B23 and should be completed by early 2017. The program’s final phase, the renovation of Gates B12 through B17, is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.
