With the debut of the all-new Volvo S90 we see another chapter of the Swedish automaker’s revitalization. The all-new Volvo S90 is set to compete directly with the all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class as well as the Audi A6 and the BMW 5 Series.

The Volvo S90 benefits from numerous safety and connectivity options from its SUV sibling, the XC90. The options include a half-autonomous drive assist pilot that works up to a maximum speed of 80 mph (130 km/h), the city emergency brake assist system, and a 360-degree camera.

Gothenburg is offering a variety of four-cylinder engine options for the S90 including power output ranging from 190 horsepower for the entry-diesel, up to 407 horsepower for the hybrid version. All variants of the S90, be they diesel, petrol or hybrid, are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
