Frontier to Launch 42 New Domestic Routes in 2016

Frontier Airlines announced it will begin 42 new routes to destinations throughout the United States this year. New flights are scheduled to begin as early as mid-April.

The carrier will offer two new routes from Austin, Texas, with flights to Orlando, Florida, and Philadelphia, as well as new service from Dallas/Fort Worth to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Additional new routes from Milwaukee will include flights to Atlanta and Philadelphia.

The Denver-based airline will add four new routes from Cincinnati, Ohio, namely to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, and Philadelphia. Further north in the state of Ohio, the airline will launch four new routes from Cleveland, with service to Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Portland, Oregon.

Moving east, Frontier will begin two new routes from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Chicago O’Hare and Orlando, as well as three new routes from Raleigh, North Carolina, to Atlanta, Orlando, and Philadelphia.

From Kansas City, Missouri, the airline will offer service to Chicago O’Hare, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. Frontier will also launch flights from St. Augustine, Florida to both Chicago O’Hare and Philadelphia.

The carrier will offer service linking New Orleans with Philadelphia and with Orlando flights, while out west, Frontier will begin service from Phoenix to Atlanta, Detroit, Seattle, and Portland, Oregon.

Frontier said it plans to operate most of its new routes three or four times a week.
