American to Begin Service to Cancun from Four U.S. Cities

DSC_0980American Airlines announced that it plans to launch new service to Cancun, Mexico, from four United States destinations on March 5 next year. The carrier will offer Saturday service to the Mexican city from Raleigh, North Carolina; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Nashville, Tennessee; and Kansas City, Missouri.

Flights will depart Raleigh-Durham International Airport at 7:05 a.m. and arrive at Cancun International Airport at 9:25 a.m. From Cancun, flights will depart at 10:25 a.m. and arrive in Raleigh at 2:15 p.m.

Pittsburgh-Cancun flights are scheduled to depart at 7:00 a.m. and arrive in Cancun at 10:01 a.m. Flights will then depart Cancun at 11:00 a.m. and arrive at Pittsburgh international Airport at 3:27 p.m.

Flights will depart Nashville International Airport at 7:00 a.m. and arrive in Cancun at 10:07 a.m., with flights departing Cancun at 11:05 a.m. and arriving in Nashville at 2:06 p.m.

From Kansas City International Airport, flights will depart at 7:00 a.m. and arrive in Cancun at 10:27 a.m. Flights will then depart Cancun at 11:25 a.m. and arrive in Kansas City at 3:01 p.m.

American will operate all the new routes with Airbus A319 planes, except for the Kansas City-Cancun service, which the carrier will operate using Boeing 737 aircraft.
