Virgin America to Launch San Francisco-Honolulu Flights

IMGP3739Virgin America announced it will begin new service between San Francisco and Honolulu on November 2.

Flights will depart San Francisco International Airport at 7:45 a.m. and arrive at Honolulu International Airport at 11:25 a.m. Return flights are scheduled to depart at 12:55 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 8:15 p.m.

Virgin will operate the service using a new Airbus A320 aircraft, which the carrier has named Pineapple Express. The planes are equipped with eight seats in first class, 12 seats in Main Cabin Select, the airline’s premium economy lite section, and 126 seats in economy. First-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 55”.

In addition to the an Francisco-Honolulu route, Virgin America plans to launch flights from San Francisco to Kahului, Maui on December 3.
