DSC_0453JetBlue Airways announced that it will launch new service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Barbados next April. The service, which is still subject to government approval, will be offered once daily.

The route will be JetBlue’s third non-stop service to Barbados’ Grantley Adams International Airport. The airline currently offers flights to Barbados from New York’s John F. JetBlue will operate the service using Airbus A320 aircraft. The planes are configured with 42 seats in Even More Space, the airline’s premium economy lite section, and 108 seats in coach.  Premium economy lite-seats are 17.8” wide, and have a pitch of 38” to 39”.

JetBlue currently offers over 100 daily flights from Fort Lauderdale to approximately 40 destination.
