Hilton Chengdu Opens in China’s Sichuan Province

Hilton announced the opening of a new hotel in Chengdu, China. The Hilton Chendgu is the 30th Hilton property to open in China, and the first of 11 that are slated to open in the city.

The property has 395 guestrooms and suites, each with floor-to-ceiling windows and a 42” LCD TV. The hotel also has a spa, 24-hour fitness center, and a rooftop pool.

Dining options include Yuxi, a Chinese restaurant offering Cantonese and Sichuan dishes; the Standard, an Italian restaurant; and Mix, which offers Japanese cuisine. Meanwhile, the Lobby Lounge offers cakes and pastries, while the Zen Six Tea House serves a variety of teas.

The hotel’s meeting and events paces include a drive-in ballroom, and 14 meeting rooms.

In celebration of the opening, Hilton is offering members of its HHonors loyalty program double points for stays through March 31, 2016.
