Conrad to Offer Guests Local Experiences
Hilton’s Conrad Hotels and Resorts unit will soon offer guests curated local experiences with varying durations.
The hotelier plans to turn its employees into storytellers about their respective destinations and package the experiences on the Conrad Concierge mobile app as part of its “Stay Inspired” initiative. The properties will offer one-, three-, and five-hour experiences that present “an inspired view into each destination covering food, shopping, art and design, culture, family, and adventure.”
Guests “want to find those hidden gems that are off the beaten path and that can’t be found in the pages of a guidebook,” said Nilou Motamed, who carries the title of director of inspiration at Conrad.
Conrad is “shifting how not only our concierges communicate and connect with our guests, but all of our team members,” said John T.A. Vanderslice, Hilton’s global head of luxury and lifestyle brands division. “We have become more like storytellers.”
