Alaska Airlines Launches Service Between Orange County and Puerto Vallarta

IMGP4649Alaska Airlines announced the launch of new non-stop flights between Orange County, California and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The carrier will operate the service three times a week, using Boeing 737-800s.

Flights will depart Orange County’s John Wayne Airport at 9:55 a.m. on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, arriving at Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport in Puerto Vallarta at 2:50 p.m. From Puerto Vallarta, flights are scheduled to depart at 3:55 p.m., also on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and arrive back in Orange County at 4:54 p.m.

Alaska’s 737-800s that will operate the route are equipped with 16 seats in first class and 144 seats in economy. First-class seats are 21” wide, with a pitch of 36”.

The new route is the second to Mexico that Alaska Airlines has launched in the past week. On Thursday, the carrier commenced flights between Orange County and Los Cabos.
