Molton Brown Plum-kado Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner

We found this at one of our favorite hotels in London and it’s become a favorite amongst FBT staffers.  Its description sounds more like a wine review, starting with the detoxifying plum-kadu fruit and aromas of cardamom, waterfruits, and sandalwood, but its amino acids restore hair that travel and environmental exposure make dull and smells great while doing so.

Peter Thomas Roth Viz-1000

We learnt about Viz-1000 from several flight attendants who say they and their colleagues swear by it.  Viz-1000, according to the manufacturer, will keep the skin hydrated day and night building what it calls “an invisible veil of moisture”  by attracting up to 1000 times its weight in water from the moisture in the air.  This in turn helps leave skin looking fresh and radiant.  We’ve been testing it for about a month now and it does seem to do what it claims.

Satechi SX-10 Portable Energy Station

If you find your smartphone needs a jumpstart more often (and there’s never an outlet around when you need one), carrying the Satechi SX-10 Portable Energy Station is probably a good idea.  It has three USB ports (two at 1 A and the other at 2.4 A) and we’ve been able to charge an iPhone 6 Plus four times and still partially charge an iPad tablet.

The good looking aluminum unit, which has a built-in flashlight, will hold its charge for days, and a built-in meter displays the percentage of charge remaining.
