New Shangri-La Hotel Opens in Hefei, Eastern China
Shangri-La Hotels announced the opening of a new property in Hefei, a city in Eastern China approximately 285 miles (460 kilometers) west of Shanghai. The Shangri-La Hotel, Hefei is about half an hour from Xinqiao International Airport and Hefei Railway Station.
The 27-story hotel has 401 guestrooms and suites, ranging in size from 484 to 1,453 square feet (45 to 135 square meters). Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and complimentary Wi-Fi, while suites, located on the top floors, offer marble bathrooms with a separate bath, walk-in shower, and a TV.
Guests can dine at the hotel’s Yang Zi Xuan restaurant, which offers Chinese specialties from different provinces of the country. In addition, Café Wan offers Western, Chinese, Japanese, and Southeast Asian cuisine.
The hotel has a spa which offers two double and five single spa suites, as well as herbal steam and showers. The property also houses a 24-hour fitness center, an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam and sauna room, and a beauty salon.
Approximately 30,881 square feet (2,869 square meters) of meeting and event space are located on the premises, including a 15,069-square-foot (1,400-square-meter) ballroom and eight function rooms.
