New Hyatt Place Hotel Opens in Downtown Chicago

Hyatt announced the opening of a new hotel in Chicago.  The Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown – the Loop is located in the city’s famous Loop district – the city’s central business district – in close proximity to various popular spots such as State Street, Millennium Park, and the Magnificent Mile.

The 18-story property has 206 guestrooms, each with 42” HD TVs and sofas.  Some of the rooms also have floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Franklin Street.

The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, as well as a 24-hour gallery menu with made-to-order entrees and appetizers.  A bar serving specialty coffees, beers, wines, and cocktails is also located on the premises.

For meeting and event planners, the hotel has three meeting rooms with a total of 2,300 square feet (213 square meters) of meeting and event space, all with floor-to-ceiling windows.  The largest room can seat 160 people.  In addition, complimentary Wi-Fi Internet is available throughout the entire property.

The property has a fitness center that is open 24 hours a day, as well as an indoor swimming pool.
