New DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Opens in Austin

Hilton announced the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Austin Northwest – Arboretum hotel in Texas.  The property was previously a Holiday Inn, and underwent a multi-million dollar renovation to become a Hilton hotel.

The hotel offers 194 guestrooms, each with 42” HD TV and complimentary Wi-Fi Internet.  The property also hosts an outdoor pool and 24-hour fitness center.

Guests can dine at Overlook, an all-day restaurant that offers classic American cuisine, or at the Centre Lounge, the hotel’s lobby bar.  The property also provides a 24-hour market with grab-and-go options and self-serve coffee.

The hotel has 7,200 square feet of meeting and event space, including two conference rooms and a boardroom.  The property also offers complimentary shuttle service to anywhere within a four-mile radius of the hotel.

In celebration of the opening, Hilton is offering members of its Hilton HHonors loyalty program double points for stays completed through December 5 of this year.
