DoubleTree by Hilton London Docklands Opens on the Banks of the River Thames
Hilton announced the opening of a new DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in London, England. The DoubleTree by Hilton London Docklands is the 11th DoubleTree hotel in the London area.
The property has 378 guestrooms, each with LCD TVs. Seventeen different meeting rooms, the largest of which is 3,256 square feet (302 square meters), are located on the premises.
Guests can dine at Columbia, an all-day restaurant offering international cuisine, as well as at the Terrace, which offers barbeque choices.
Located on the River Thames, the DoubleTree by Hilton London Docklands is the only hotel in London with its own pier. The hotel offers ferry service seven days a week between the pier and Canary Wharf Pier, with ferries running every 10 minutes during peak commuter hours. The ferry puts guests close to various attractions such as the Tower of London, the London Eye, and the Palaces of Westminster.
