New DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Opens in Omaha

Hilton announced the opening of a new DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Omaha, Nebraska.  The DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Southwest is the second DoubleTree property in the Omaha area.

The property offers 179 guestrooms, 30 of which are suites, each with 42” LCD TVs.  Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet is also provided in all rooms.

A new restaurant, Vida, is scheduled to open on July 1, and it will offer American and Tex-Mex dishes.  Until this summer, the hotel will be serving food from the restaurant’s menu and kitchen in the ballroom, as well as offering in-room dining.

The hotel hosts a 24-hour fitness center, has an indoor pool and hot tub, and an outdoor pool deck.  In addition, complimentary shuttle service to destinations within a three-mile radius of the property is provided between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Also located on the premises are over 28,000 square feet (2,601 square meters) of meeting and event space.
