Hyatt announced the opening of the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center in Northern Virginia.  Located in Tysons Corner, just outside of Washington, D.C., the hotel is approximately 15 miles (24 kilometers) from both Washington Dulles and Washington Reagan Airports.

The property has 300 guestrooms, of which 17 are suites.  Each room has floor-to-ceiling windows, and is designed with neutral color palette with warm wood tones.  Rooms also feature 48” flat panel TVs, and marble bathrooms with rain showerheads.

The hotel’s Regency Club lounge offers continental breakfast, midday snacks, and evening hors d’oeuvres and desserts to those inside.  The property also has complimentary Wi-Fi in all of its public spaces.

The hotel has over 15,000 square feet (1,393 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a 7,000-square-foot (650-square-meter) ballroom and 14 separate rooms.

Guests can dine at Barrel & Bushel, the hotel’s American restaurant, which serves regionally inspired food and local and craft beers.  Barrel & Bushel Express offers guests the option of to-go food.

The property is part of Tysons Corner Center, a mixed-use expansion that includes apartments, restaurants, and the 2 million-square-foot (185,806-square-meter) Tysons Corner Center mall.  The place is also located on the Washington Silver Metro Line, which takes guests straight into downtown Washington, D.C.
