Largest JW Marriott in North America Opens in Austin, Texas

Marriott announced the opening of a new JW Marriott hotel in Austin, Texas.  The JW Marriott Austin is the largest JW Marriott in North America, and the second largest in the world.

The 34-story hotel has 1,012 guestrooms, 30 being suites.  Each room has 48” LED TVs and Texas-inspired décor.

The property provides over 112,000 square feet (10,405 square meters)of meeting and event space, including a 30,000-square-foot (2,787-square-meter) grand ballroom and 42 meeting rooms.  A 24-hour business center is also available for guests.

A pool is located on the fifth floor, with an outline of the state of Texas etched on the bottom.  A fitness center and spa are also located on the premises.

The hotel provides three dining establishments, including Osteria Pronto, an Italian restaurant, Corner, which features classic Texas cuisine, and Burger Bar, a venue specializing in hamburgers.  The property also hosts an on-site Starbucks.
