Hainan Airlines to Launch Three New China-U.S. Routes
Hainan Airlines announced that it plans to launch three new flights between China and the United States this summer. The carrier will launch Beijing-San Jose, California, flights on June 15, Shanghai-Boston, Massachusetts, service on June 20, and flights between Shanghai and Seattle, Washington, on June 22.
Hainan will operate its service to San Jose five times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Flights will depart Mineta San Jose International Airport at 1:10 p.m. and arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport at 4:40 p.m. the next day, with flights from Beijing to San Jose departing at 2:30 p.m. and arriving at 11:10 a.m. the same day.
From Boston’s Logan Airport, flights will depart at 4:25 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and will arrive at Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport at 7:35 p.m. the following day. Flights from Shanghai to Boston will depart at 11:45 a.m., also on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and arrive at 2:25 p.m. the same day.
The airline will operate flights between Seattle and Shanghai four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights will depart Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at 12:00 p.m. and arrive at Shanghai Pudong at 4:30 p.m. the next day. Flights from Shanghai to Seattle are scheduled to depart at 1:15 p.m. and arrive at 9:35 a.m. the same day.
Hainan Airlines also plans to increase service on its routes between Beijing and Boston, Seattle, and Chicago to daily flights beginning May 1.
