New Hilton Hotel Opens at Jacksonville Airport

Hilton announced the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Jacksonville Airport.  The hotel is located within walking distance of Jacksonville International Airport’s main terminal, and views of the runway are visible from the property.

The hotel has 201 guestrooms, each with LCD HDTVs.  The property also has complimentary wireless Internet.

A 24-hour fitness center, as well as a heated outdoor pool and hot tub are also located on the premises.  In addition, the hotel offers 24-hour shuttle service to and from the airport.

The property has 11,000 square feet (1,021 square meters) of meeting and event space, including two ballrooms, two boardrooms, and four breakout rooms.  The hotel also has a 24-hour business center.

Guests can also dine at the property’s Frequency Restaurant, an all-day eatery serving American cuisine.

In celebration of the opening, the DoubleTree by Hilton Jacksonville Airport is offering Hilton HHonors members 1,000 bonus points per night, up to 5,000 points, for stays completed through April 30, 2015.
