ANA to Begin Tokyo Narita-Kuala Lumpur Dreamliner Service
Airline to Increase Frequencies, Substitute Aircraft on International Routes
All Nippon Airways announced that it plans to launch new daily service from Tokyo Narita to Kuala Lumpur on September 1. The carrier will operate the flights using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.
Flights will depart Tokyo at 5:20 p.m. and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 11:35 p.m. From Kuala Lumpur, flights will depart at 7:00 a.m. and arrive in Tokyo at 3:00 p.m.
In addition to the new Tokyo Narita-Kuala Lumpur service, ANA also announced that it would increase service on its Narita-Honolulu route, from seven to 14 flights a week, on July 17.
The carrier also plans to change aircraft on various routes this year. The airline will substitute a Boeing 777-300ER for a 787-8 on its routes between Tokyo Narita and Singapore (on March 29), Seattle (on May 6), and Frankfurt (on May 7), as well as a 787-8 for a 777-300ER on its routes between Paris and both Tokyo Haneda and Tokyo Narita on May 7.
The airline will also begin operating 787-8s instead of 767-300ERs on flights between Tokyo Haneda and Vancouver on July 1 and between Tokyo Narita and Beijing on March 29, and a 767-300ER instead of a 737-700 on its Tokyo Narita-Shenyang route on March 29.
