Norwegian Reports 45% Growth in June Traffic

Norwegian Air Shuttle announced operational results for June 2014.
The airline’s traffic for the month was 3.561 billion revenue passenger kilometers, or RPKs, a year-over-year increase of 45% from 2.464 billion RPKs in June 2013.
Capacity in June also increased substantially, up 39% year-over-year, to 4.317 billion available seat kilometers, or ASKs, from 3.097 billion ASKs during the same period last year.
The airline reported a passenger load factor of 82.5% in June, which was an increase of 2.9 percentage points from 79.6% in June of last year.
