Hyatt announced the opening of the Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills in Japan.  The property is the first Andaz hotel in the country, and the company’s twelfth overall in the world.

The hotel is located within the 52-story Toranomon Hills tower, between the 47th and 52nd floors.  The property has 164 guestrooms, eight of which are suites.

Rooms are designed with natural materials such as washi paper and walnut, and bathrooms have deep soaking tubs inspired by Japanese bath culture.  Each room offers complimentary wireless Internet and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks.

The hotel provides a variety of dining establishments, including the Andaz Tavern, located on the 51st floor and offering European cuisine infused with seasonal Japanese ingredients, and the Rooftop Bar, located at the top, on the 52nd floor, which features crafted cocktails, teas, domestic draft beers, champagne, sake, and fresh seasonal fruit.  BeBu, an all-day restaurant, serves burgers and beer and is located on the first floor of the building, as is the Pastry Shop, which offers coffee and pastries.

The hotel provides 8,200 square feet (761 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a rooftop chapel and open-air terrace.  In addition, the property hosts a 14,500-square-foot (1,347-square-meter) spa, which includes a pool, carbonated bath, five treatment rooms, and a fitness center.

The Andaz Tokyo Toranomon is located next to the Tokyo Tower and Imperial Palace, and is in close proximity to the Ginza shopping district and Tokyo’s central financial area.
