Alaska Airlines announced the launch of new daily service between Seattle and Tampa, Florida.  The new flights are the only non-stops available between the two cities.

Flights depart Seattle at 8:50 a.m. and arrive in Tampa at 5:30 p.m.  Flights from Tampa depart at 6:30 p.m. and arrive in Seattle at 9:25 p.m.

Earlier this month, Alaska began new daily service between Seattle and New Orleans, Louisiana.  In addition, the carrier said it will begin new service from Seattle to Baltimore, Detroit, and Albuquerque in September, as well as service to Cancun, Mexico in November.

Along with the new flights from Seattle this year, Alaska Airlines is expected to add an additional 21 daily flights from its hub at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport by next spring, including new daily service to Boise, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Fairbanks, Palm Springs, and Sacramento.
