New Renaissance Hotel Opens in Denver
Marriott announced the opening of a new Renaissance brand hotel in Denver, Colorado. The Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center hotel is located in the city’s financial district and occupies a historic 1915 building listed on the National Register of Historic Places that formerly housed the Colorado National Bank.
The eight-story hotel has 221 guestrooms and nine suites, and hosts a restaurant and bar serving cuisine sourced from local ingredients. A fitness center, and 6,000 square feet (557 square meters) of meeting and event space are also located on the premises.
The property features 16 restored murals from the original Colorado National Bank building, a collection of modern artwork from local artists, and a wall displaying artifacts and photos from the bank’s history. In addition, the hotel will offer complimentary interactive tours of the building for both guests and visitors.
The Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center is located within walking distance of Union Station as well as several popular tourist attractions, including Coors Field, the Pepsi Center, and the Denver Art Museum.
The new hotel is the second Renaissance brand property to open in Denver.
