Lufthansa announced the launch of new seasonal service between Frankfurt and Montreal.  The service operates five times a week through October 12, using a combination of Airbus A340-300 and A330-300 aircraft.

Flights from Montreal to Frankfurt depart Montreal-Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday evenings, and arrive at Frankfurt Airport the next morning.  Flights from Frankfurt depart in the early afternoon on the same days, and arrive in Montreal approximately eight hours later.

Lufthansa’s Airbus A340-300 aircraft are outfitted with 267 seats, while the airline’s A330-300s are equipped with 221 seats.  Both have business- and economy-class cabins, configured with 42 and 56 business-class seats respectively.

In addition to the new Montreal-Frankfurt route, Lufthansa plans to launch new service between Toronto and Munich on June 5.
