New Aloft Hotel to Open in Abu Dhabi

Starwood announced it will open a new hotel in Al Ain, a city in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.  The Aloft Al Ain will be the second Aloft property to be located in the country.

The hotel will have 172 loft-like rooms, including two presidential suites.  Each room will be outfitted with oversized windows, platform beds, and large walk-in showers in the bathrooms.

The property will also house the brand’s signature W XYZ bar, as well as a fitness center and a 24-hour kiosk offering food, snacks, and drinks.  The hotel will also be equipped with two spaces for meetings and events.

The Aloft Al Ain will be part of a 5,381,955 square foot (500,000 square meter) mixed-use development that will also include office space, residential units, entertainment options, retail shops, and dining venues.
