JetBlue Airways announced operational results for January 2014.

System traffic for the airline was 2.784 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a 0.1% year-over-year decrease.  Capacity, expressed in available seat miles, or ASMs, was 3.365 billion ASMs, a 1.4% decrease from January 2013.

JetBlue’s load factor increased by 1.1 percentage points year-over-year, up to 82.8%.

The airline projects that passenger revenue per available seat mile, or Prasm, a key measure of an airline’s performance, increased by 6% for January from the same period in 2013.
