Ritz-Carlton Debuts New Hotel in India

Ritz-Carlton announced the opening of the Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, in India.  The hotel is the company’s first property in the country.

The hotel has 277 rooms and suites.  On display throughout the property are 1,280 pieces of art.

The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore offers seven dining venues, including The Lantern, a three-level restaurant shaped like a lantern and featuring authentic Chinese cuisine, the Market, which offers all-day dining and a wine room, Riwaz, a fine dining establishment which specializes in kebabs and Indian breads, and Bang, a rooftop bar and lounge.

The property’s meeting and event spaces include a 6,458 square foot (600 square meter) Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, a permanent boardroom, and three function rooms.

The hotel also offers a 17,000 square foot (1,579 square meter) spa, which includes 12 treatment rooms, a fitness facility, an outdoor pool, and private cabanas.
