Loews Regency Hotel to Reopen After Extensive Renovations
Loews Hotels & Resorts announced that the Loews Regency Hotel in New York will reopen on January 16, 2014, following a $100 million renovation of the property. Changes include the addition of a new restaurant, new meeting spaces, and a new salon and spa.
Chef Dan Silverman will oversee the hotel’s new dining concept, which will feature a menu that emphasizes market-fresh ingredients and modern takes on classic dishes.
The property will be equipped with a 10,000 square foot (929 square meter) beauty salon, which will include a spa and VIP rooms, as well as 30 custom-designed stations. Guests will also have access to a 24-hour, 1,700 square foot (157 square meter) fitness center.
In addition, the hotel will offer four new private meeting spaces when it reopens.
