Starwood announced the opening of the Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort in Haitang Bay, China. The hotel is the brand’s 18th property in greater China.

The hotel offers 448 guestrooms, suites, and villas. Each room is outfitted with Westin Heavenly Beds, large balconies with either sea or garden views, and flat screen LCD TVs.

The property hosts several dining venues, including Seasonal Tastes, an all-day restaurant, and Five Senses, featuring authentic Cantonese cuisine. Contemporary Japanese dining is offered at Mai, and the Lobby Lounge serves guests cocktails, hot Westin Jing Tea, and freshly brewed coffee. The resort also provides 24-hour in-room dining service.

The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay Resort has 29,062 square feet (2,700 square meters) of meeting and event space. The space includes ten individual function rooms, one of which is a 12,916 square foot (1,200 square meter) grand ballroom.

The property also hosts five pools and 10 Jacuzzis.
