Surf Air announced new daily service between Santa Barbara Airport and the San Carlos Airport in San Mateo, just south of San Francisco.

Twice daily flights depart Santa Barbara at 8:15 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., arriving at San Carlos at 9:40 a.m. and 6:55 p.m. respectively. Flights depart San Carlos at 10:15 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., arriving in Santa Barbara at 11:40 a.m. and 8:55 p.m. respectively.

The service operates using six-seat Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. Surf Air’s aircraft are single-engine turboprop aircraft with a BMW-designed interior.

Surf Air connects Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Santa Barbara with 16 daily flights. Use of the service is predicated on passengers attaining membership by paying a $500 one-time initiation fee, and subscribing to unlimited flights for $1650 a month.

Members receive other perks as well, such as unlimited guest passes, invitations to exclusive member events, and access to Surf Air’s concierge. The concierge receives passengers upon arrival to the airport, checks them in, assists with luggage, makes vehicle arrangements on either end, and provides assistance with anything that is needed along the way.

Passengers need to arrive just 15 minutes before departure, and parking is complimentary.
