Delta to Launch Seattle-Shanghai Service

Delta Air Lines announced it will launch service between Seattle, Washington and Shanghai, China on June 17.  The service will operate using Boeing 767-300 aircraft.

Flights will depart from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at 2:30 p.m. and arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 5:55 a.m the next day.  Flights from Shanghai to Seattle will depart at 12:20 p.m. and arrive at 8:50 a.m. the same day.

The aircraft is outfitted with 36 lie-flat seats in BusinessElite, 29 seats in economy comfort, and 143 seats in economy.  Seats in BusinessElite are 20.5″ wide, with a pitch of roughly 80”.

Delta recently launched service between Seattle and Tokyo Haneda, as well as between Newark and Paris on June 1.
