DSC_0534American Airlines announced it will begin new daily, nonstop service between Miami and Milan on November 21.  Customers can book flights for the new route beginning June 2.

Flights will depart Miami International Airport at 5:55 p.m. and arrive at Malpensa Airport in Milan at 9:35 a.m. the following day.  From Milan, flights will depart at 11:25 a.m. and arrive in Miami at 4:40 p.m.

The service will operate using a Boeing 767-300 aircraft, equipped with 30 seats in business class, 21 seats in Main Cabin Extra, and 167 seats in economy class.  Seating in business class is in a 2-2-2 configuration with American’s Next Generation angled-flat business-class seat.  Each seat has 60” of pitch and is 18.5” wide.

The flight will be operated under the airline’s joint venture with British Airways and Iberia, thereby giving passengers the ability to transfer to over 125 destinations in Europe.  American Airlines currently serves Milan from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
