InterContinental Hotels Group announced that it will provide free Internet to gold and platinum level members of its hotel loyalty program beginning July of this year.  The company also recently announced that it has renamed the program, formerly Priority Club Rewards.  It is now know as IHG Rewards Club.

Starting in 2014,  InterContinental will offer free Internet access to all members of the IHG Rewards Club, regardless of status.

Additional new benefits for IHG Rewards Club members will include the ability to earn elite status faster when they stay in three or more different IHG branded hotels.  The new program will count  reward nights towards earning elite status, and platinum members will be able to have their extra nights roll over to the next year.
