Hyatt Union Square New York to Open in April
Hyatt announced that the Hyatt Union Square New York will open in April of this year. The hotel is now accepting reservations.
Located at 13th Street and Fourth Avenue, the 178-room property will have a 23-foot high entryway ceiling and the hotel will maintain the building’s original historic façade. The lobby will be furnished with contemporary furniture meant to create a New York downtown vibe.
Among the rooms will be two presidential suites, the Sanctuary and the Empyreal. The Sanctuary will include a 954-square-foot (88-square-meter) landscaped terrace and a two-person shower, while the Empyreal Suite will have floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom.
In keeping with the city theme, other guest room categories will include Urbane Studio, Urbane Sky Room, Urbane Terrace, Courtyard Studio, and Alcove Loft.
The hotel’s dining options will include a signature restaurant, The Fourth, that serves traditional brasserie fare with a modern American twist. There is also Singl Lounge, which will offer single malt scotch selections as well as vineyard wines by the glass.
