Hilton to Introduce DoubleTree Brand in Ireland
Hilton has announced that it will launch its DoubleTree by Hilton brand in Ireland. Its first property will be the former Morrison Dublin hotel, after an extensive renovation of the property is complete.
Reopening in early February as the Morrison Dublin, a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, the property is currently undergoing an extensive $9.3 million refurbishment. When opened, the 138-room hotel will feature two restaurants, a bar, a 24-hour business center, a fitness center, and 4,400 square feet of meeting and event space.
Located on the banks of the River Liffey, the hotel is near sporting and concert venues such as the Guinness Storehouse, the Board Gais Energy Theatre, the Aviva Stadium, and the O2 Arena. The property will be the fifth Hilton Worldwide-operated hotel in the Republic of Ireland, joining three Hiltons and the Conrad Dublin.
