Virgin America has launched its first domestic airport lounge, the Virgin America Loft.  The new lounge is located at Terminal 3 of Los Angeles International Airport.

The lounge contains elements such as red Vitra sofas, Frank Gehry tables, Alessi tableware, and unique pieces of art.  The walls are adorned with black and white photographs, and the floors are made of 85% post-consumer recycled material.

The lounge offers complimentary Wi-Fi, conveniently placed power outlets, and live TV.  In addition, Virgin America offers its seasonal food menu in the lounge, featuring items such as fresh fruit salad wraps, Otsu Soba noodles, an assortment of fresh sushi, and Virgin and aviation-themed cocktails.

Gold and Silver members of Virgin America’s Elevate frequent flyer program will receive a select number of passes per year to the new lounge.  Additionally, passengers can purchase day passes for $40.
