US Airways Announces Schedule for New Charlotte-London Route

US Airways has announced the schedule for its new daily service between its hub in Charlotte and London Heathrow, set to begin March 30, 2013. The service will operate using an Airbus A330-300 aircraft, and will replace the airline’s current service between Charlotte and London Gatwick, which will end March 29, 2013.

Eastbound flights will depart Charlotte Douglas International Airport at 7:05 p.m. and arrive in London at 8:05 a.m. the next day. From London, flights will depart at 10:05 a.m., and arrive in Charlotte at 2:10 p.m.

The flight to London will originate in Miami, offering passengers one-stop service from MIA. Tickets for the new service are now available for purchase on the airline’s website.
