Starwood Announces SPG Power Up Program

Starwood has announced its SPG Power Up promotion for members of the Starwood Preferred Guest loyalty program.  Beginning in January 2013, members can earn bonus Starpoints when they stay at any of the over 1,100 participating hotels and resorts worldwide.

With the promotion, guests will awarded 2,000 bonus Starpoints for every four eligible nights they stay, with a maximum of 8,000 points and 16 nights.  In addition, guests with more than 20 eligible nights will earn an extra 10,000 bonus Starpoints.

Registration for the promotion begins in January of 2013.  Eligible nights that guests can stay are from January 15 to April 15, 2013.
