Norton Releases New Mobile Security

Symantec has updated Norton Mobile Security.  The new version helps keep users keep mobile devices secure, recover lost or stolen devices, and also prevents strangers from accessing private information.

Norton Mobile Security offers multi-device, multi-platform support, which protects a consumer’s devices; contacts backup and & restore, which saves contacts from a user’s Android or iOS device; and web-based management, which lets consumers control the security of their devices from the Internet.  In addition, the new security also includes “scream” alarm, which sets off an alarm to help customers find their missing devices, and remote location, which pinpoints a lost or stolen device on a map.

Norton Mobile Security is available for purchase for $29.99 from various retailers, as well as on the Norton online store or Google Play.
