The United Kingdom will offer travelers from the United States and “old Commonwealth” countries faster immigration clearance with separate fast-track passport lanes after the Olympic Games.

Damian Green, the country’s immigration minister announced the change, which will also apply to Japan and New Zealand, two other “low-risk countries.”

Green told members of parliament that this will give these visitors “a better experience at Heathrow” and further restated a pledge to have, starting today, every passport control desk staffed at peak arrival times during the Olympic Games.

In recent months, travelers at Heathrow have been plagued by extraordinarily-long wait times to clear passport control.
