Four Seasons has purchased the Bilila Lodge, a resort in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, Africa, and will reopen it as the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti this fall.

The resort is located within the park in the Central Serengeti and will offer 60 rooms, 12 suites, and five villas. All rooms have views of the Serengeti, and feature African architecture. At the center of the resort is a two-story structure with restaurants, a spa, and an infinity pool. The center building overlooks a watering hole, where a herd of elephants often visits.

The Serengeti National Park is a 5,700 sq mile (14,763 sq km) wildlife sanctuary that features the largest concentration of plains animals in Africa.

Four Seasons also plans to add two other properties in Tanzania, one in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the other on the island of Zanzibar.
