CLEAR is a members-only program that allows travelers to quickly get through security lines by simply using their fingerprint for identification. Membership is $179 for a year of unlimited usage. A Family Plan is available that adds spouses/significant others to the membership for an additional $50. Children under 18 can use the CLEAR lanes at no charge, as long as an adult accompanies them.

The CLEARlanes at Terminal E will serve Alaska, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Spirit, United, US Airways, and Virgin America.

On May 23, San Francisco International opened CLEARlanes at every terminal in the airport.
