American Airlines, a member of the oneworld alliance, will begin flying from Miami International Airport to Barcelona El Prat Airport five times weekly starting April 3. The flight will begin operating daily on June 14.
The new service will use Boeing 767-300 aircraft, with lie-flat seats in business class.
Iberia Airlines, a member of the oneworld alliance, and a joint venture partner with American Airlines and British Airways, will boost its service between Miami International Airport and Madrid’s Barajas Airport. Iberia will add a second four-times-weekly flight on this route starting March 25.
